Tata has revised the colour options of their popular compact sedan, Tigor. The 2022 version now gets two new colours - Deep Red and Opal White with a black roof. The latter is the dual-tone colour option. With this, the Indian carmaker has also discontinued two existing colour options namely Pure Silver and Opal White (mono-tone).
As of now, the current colour options of the Tata Tigor are -
Deep Red
Arizona Blue
Daytona Grey
Magnetic Red with Black Roof
Opal White with Black Roof
Other than the colour updates, nothing is changed in the Tata Tigor. Under the hood, it gets a 1.2-litre, three-cylinder naturally aspirated petrol engine. This is the same engine used in Tiago, Tiago NRG, Altroz and even Punch. It generates a peak power and torque of 84 bhp and 113 Nm, respectively.

A 5-speed manual transmission is observed as standard and an AMT as an option in the compact sedan. Tata Tigor is also offered in the CNG and in that, the peak power and torque stick to 72 bhp and 95 Nm only. With CNG, the engine is mated to a stick shift gearbox only.
Feature-wise, Tata Tigor is equipped with a touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a push start/stop button, an automatic climate control, rake adjustment for the steering wheel, halogen projector headlights, LED daytime running lights, LED taillights and more.
Safety features on the Tigor include dual airbags at the front, ABS with EBD, reverse parking sensors, a rear parking camera, a high-speed alert system, front seat-belt reminder, speed sensing door locks and more. Also, Tigor is the only compact sedan in the segment to score 4 stars at the Global NCAP crash test rating.

Tata Tigor is priced from Rs 5.99 lakh to Rs 8.59 lakh, ex-showroom, Delhi. It competes with the popular Maruti Dzire, Hyundai Xcent and Honda Amaze. Also, it is the only compact sedan in the segment to be offered in petrol, CNG and EV mode.
