Tata has unveiled their Red Dark Edition for the Nexon iCNG. What does this new edition have to offer? Let's find out in this article. Red Dark Edition
Tata launched the iCNG variant of the Nexon last year at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2024. However, at this year's Global expo, the manufacturers showcased the Red Dark Edition of the same variant. This Special edition gets a carbon black colour with red accents. The rest of the features remain similar to the outgoing model apart from the red leatherette upholstery along with red stitchings and piano black interiors. In terms of features, the Red Dark Edition is equipped with the same 10.2-inch infotainment with a digital instrument cluster, wireless charging, ventilated seats, 360-degree camera, panoramic sunroof and LED headlamps.
Powertrain & Pricing
Tata Nexon iCNG happens to be the first car in the segment to get a turbocharged engine with CNG compatibility. This Red Dark Edition of the Tata Nexon continues to be powered by the same 1.2L Revotron turbo engine mated with a 6-speed manual transmission. This engine gives out 99 ps and 170 Nm of torque. However, the pricing for Red Dark has not been out yet but is expected to sit somewhere near the regular CNG version. Moreover, the regular CNG version is priced at Rs 8.99 lakh (ex-showroom) and goes up to Rs 14.59 lakh (ex-showroom).

Verdict
Tata continues to diversify its range by launching special editions of the existing variants. The stylish red accents in the carbon black interiors give the CNG version a bold look. This Red Dark Edition enhanced the overall appeal of the CNG version, making it more popular among the audience who admire looks.
