Tesla Motors is one of the most valuable carmaker around the globe and has been offering some interesting products. Elon Musk - CEO of Tesla - has responded to a lot of followers asking when India will get Tesla officially and the answers were uncertain. Now, Tesla is in talks with the Karnataka government to open a new Research & Development (R&D) centre in Bangalore. If the talks are successful, India will be the second country outside the U.S to get such R&D centre.

Bangalore is the Silicon Valley of India and many global players have or planning to have their R&D centre in Bangalore. Although the discussion is in the preliminary stage and two rounds of discussion have been conducted, there are good chances of a successful agreement given the eco-friendly and supportive policies of the state. Tesla already has its R&D centre in China, Bangalore will be the second place outside the U.S to have the R&D centre.

The Tesla Model 3 is the most successful product from the brand and it got appreciation from around the globe. When Tesla announced the bookings of the Model 3, many prospective buyers booked their Model 3 sedans but till date, there is no concrete word for the official deliveries. The delay resulted in the cancellation of most of the bookings from Indian customers.
