Starting off, the older-gen Thar used to come with a 2.5-litre CRDe engine which made as much as 105 bhp on tap with 250 Nm of torque. It came with a standard 4x4 set up and offered a 5-speed manual gearbox. However, mostly Thar owners had to opt for the aftermarket shops to further accessories their Thar as it lacked even the basic creature comforts!
Sharing more details on this modified Thar then we have this from down South and belongs to Danish. It is not known whether he has opted for performance upgrades for the engine but what we know here is the list of modifications that aesthetically make the SUV a lot meaner!

Also, the soft top is replaced by a custom hardtop with a little percentage of window tint. The SUV also gets custom fenders which give the bulging wheel arches an edge. It sits on 15-inch 10.5J steel rims and gets wrapped in 33-inch Maxxis 764 Mud Terrain tyres!
The ground clearance of this modified Thar is also improved as it now gets a suspension upgrade. It receives an Ironman 4x4 suspension with ARC leaf springs. You also get a custom steel front and rear bumper, side door handles and the larger ORVMs. It also gets aftermarket fog lights too.
