Ignyte, a sub-brand of Steelbird helmets, has launched its new IGN-7 helmet. With a starting price of Rs 6,199 only, this helmet is unique in terms of safety. It is the first-ever India-made helmet that complies with ECE 22.06 safety regulations. Additionally, this model also complies with the DOT & BIS safety regulations. Speaking of safety first, the IGN-7 has been tested and engineered rigorously. This fact is proven by the safety certifications that this model beholds. The IGN-7 gets ECE 22.06 safety certification as well as DOT FMVSS No. 218 certification. With that said, it is now the first-ever made-in-India helmet to possess both of the top-notch safety certifications. Additionally, it also gets BIS (Bureau Of Indian Standards) approval as well. Hence, multiple top-notch safety certifications are supposed to attract more customers. However, the Ignyte brand is solely owned by Steelbird helmets.

Ignyte IGN-7 Helmet

Meanwhile, the design of the IGN-7 has been carved in a way to offer comfort to the rider. The interior padding of it is loaded with a high-frequency thermo foam wind deflector. Additionally, it also gets a double-D ring fastener, nose protector, sun visor, etc. Ignyte has also fitted a Pinlock 70 anti-fog lens ECE-certified visor on the IGN-7. However, its shell is made out of 9-part EPS hence protecting the rider's head with up to 18 various impact points.

IGN-7 helmet range is offered in 3 different sizes. These include M, L, & XL. All three sizes are available in monocolour or with decals. The range of IGN-7 helmets starts at Rs 6,199 depending upon the size and colour chosen.

Steelbird is a well-known helmet brand in the domestic market. The company introduced the Ignyte brand not so long ago. It was launched to compete with the SMK brand from Studds.
