Skoda recently confimed that it is working on three new electric cars that will be smaller than the Enyaq SUV and the Enyag Coupe. The brand however did say that it may also introduce larger EVs in the future. The three new Skoda electric vehicles may include one sedan and a small hatchback to replace the Citigo e-iV in the market. Here are all the details that you want to know about the upcoming electric Skoda cars.
For starters, Skoda recently introduced the new Enyaq Coupe iV, Skoda's second model built on the MEB platform. This electric Coupe attracted a lot of attention in the market and offers a good-looking and a powerful package to the buyers. Having said this, the new electric cars to be launched by Skoda also include a smaller sedan, that might measure close to the Volkswagen ID 3 dimensions while a other hatchback may also be introduced to replace the Citigo e-iV. The Citigo e-iV went out of the production in 2020.

Having said this, Skoda did also communicate that in addition to the these three new electric offerings, the brand might also connsider developing a new and a larger electric car to sit beside or above the Enyaq. It may include a 7-seater SUV or a MPV. These might be similar to the upcoming ID Buzz. The brand expects a total of 50-70 percent of total sales to come from pure-electric cars in Europe by 2030 and is currently prioritising the plans for a major expansion in the EV space.
In India, Skoda will be soon introducing the new Slavia sedan while it is also expected to launch six new models by the end of 2022 in the Indian market including the Slavia and the recently introduced Kodiaq facelift. The brand is also said to be working on introducing the new Enyaq iV all electric SUV in India.
