The engine comes mated to a 4-speed manual gearbox and delivers around 70-75 kmpl of mileage. Bajaj CT 100 BS6 is available in two variants - CT 100 KS and CT 100 ES. This 100cc commuter from the house of Bajaj Auto shares its mechanicals and features with the CT 100 but comes with a Platina moniker. It also gets class-leading seating comfort, new LED DRLs and attractive body decals with new colour shades.

Bajaj Platina is also powered by the same 102cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled, fuel-injected, DTS-i engine that churns out 7.9 PS of power at 7500 RPM and 8.3 Nm of torque at 5500 RPM, mated to a 4-speed manual gearbox. Hero MotoCorp is renowned all over the world for making affordable & reliable entry-level commuter motorcycles. The cheapest BS6 bike from the house of Hero MotoCorp is the Hero HF Deluxe BS6. This commuter is powered by a 97.2cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine that churns out 8 PS of power at 8000 RPM and 8.05 Nm of torque at 6000 RPM, mated to a 4-speed manual gearbox. Hero is known to lure the 'kitna deti hai' customers and the HF deluxe returns a great mileage of around 65-70 kmpl.

The HF Deluxe BS6 also gets Hero's patented i3S (idle stop/start) system and X-Sens fuel-injection technology. It is a more premium derivative of the HF Deluxe but has an old-school design language and is mostly sold in the rural markets.
