We all know Electric is the Future! Electric Vehicles are getting really very popular in the Indian market in recent times. Though the EV ecosystem in India is still in the nascent stage, people have started considering them as an affordable personal green mobility solution. The automakers, especially two-wheeler makers now want to have at least one EV in their portfolio. So, today in this article, we have listed for you the Top Five Upcoming Electric Scooters in India in 2021.
Upcoming Electric Scooters in India in 2021:
Hero eMaestro Edge
Hero MotoCorp - India's largest two-wheeler manufacturer, doesn't have any electric two-wheeler in their portfolio yet. We got to see the new Hero eMaestro exclusively last year and we believe it might be launched in India this year. The eMaestro will share its cycle parts with the regular Maestro but will get new mechanicals. There are no details about its specs as of now but we expect to deliver around 80-100 kms of range on a single charge. It is expected to be priced around Rs. 1.20 lakhs, Ex-showroom Delhi.
Suzuki Burgman Electric
The upcoming new Suzuki Burgman Electric has been spied on test in India several times. The Burgman Electric will be most likely the first electric two-wheeler offering from this Japanese two-wheeler manufacturer in India. It will get an electric motor coupled with a lithium-ion battery pack. It might also deliver around 80-100 kilometres of range on a single charge and a top speed of around 80 kmph. The Suzuki Burgman Electric will be most likely launched this year and will be priced around Rs. 1.30 lakhs, Ex-showroom.
