For the upcoming Auto Expo 2023, which is scheduled to take place in a few days, the automakers are prepared to display their newest models at the auto show. Kia India is exhibiting some of its newest models at the motor show. The three-row, seven-seat Kia Sorento SUV is one of them. In several international markets, the Sorento is currently for sale, and the company will display the SUV at the 2023 Auto Show. Let's dive into the top highlights of the Kia Sorento.

Kia Sorento: Exterior Design
On the front,the Sorento retains the tiger nose grille found on other Kia vehicles and features a sleek design with a stunning front end. It sports a three-pod LED headlight with LED DRLs located immediately below the primary headlamp. Large air intakes and LED fog lamps are featured on the front bumper. The SUV has a broad base. It develops wide wheel arches and sharp body lines as it moves to the flanks. It has a sculpted tailgate and vertically placed LED taillamps on the back.
Kia Sorento: Interior Design & Features
The SUV's interior features a sizable 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, rotary volume control knobs, vertically mounted air conditioning vents, a dual-tone dashboard finish, a small cubby hole next to the drive selector, and a few other switches for different functions.
As is typical for Kia, the Sorento is equipped with a plethora of features. Large panoramic sunroof, 12-speaker Bose audio system, second-row captain's chairs, 64-color ambient lighting, 360-degree camera, wheel-mounted controls, and many other goodies are included with the Sorento. The SUV's safety features also include the option of ADAS, which includes automatic braking, lane departure assistance, adaptive cruise control, and other features.
Kia Sorento: Engine Options
A 2.5-litre turbocharged petrol engine, a 1.6-litre petrol hybrid engine, and a 2.2-litre diesel engine are the three powertrain choices for the Sorento SUV for the international market. The 1.6-litre plug-in hybrid engine, which is paired with a 13.68 kWh battery and generates 261 bhp of power and 350 Nm of torque, is the most potent of the group. The 2.2-litre diesel engine generates a maximum torque of 440 Nm and 202 bhp of power. The 2.5-litre turbocharged gasoline engine produces a maximum torque of 246 Nm and 191 bhp. The 2.5-litre petrol engine is the only choice for the AWD variant.

Kia Sorento: Launch & Rivals
The Sorento will be on display by Kia India at the upcoming Auto Expo, although the launch date is yet unknown. The brand might introduce the Sorento for the Indian market later this year if it receives a positive response from the crowd at the show. The Jeep Meridian, Skoda Kodiaq, MG Gloster, and other three-row SUVs will compete with the Kia Sorento if it is introduced in India.
Verdict: If launched soon, the Sorento will be a premium model in the Kia India lineup. After observing the reception of the SUV at the forthcoming auto show, we may predict that the South Korean brand may take the launch of Sorento into consideration for the Indian market.
