TVS Apache RTX 300

As per the patented image, the bike does not look like a full-blown off-roader but rather an adventure tourer, and we are saying this based on its design. Here, TVS has given it a semi-fairing look with a quite muscular tank and sturdy grab handles at the back. Last year, at TVS Moto Soul, the brand showcased their new home-grown RT-XD4 300 engine, which we believe will become the power source of this bike. Furthermore, it is built on an all-new architecture with a dual overhead camshaft, producing 35 ps and 28.5 Nm of torque.

Now talking about its features - for sure it will get USD front forks finished in gold paint, and above it is a quad LED light setup that looks absolutely striking, with a long windscreen in transparent glass above it. The mirrors are placed on the handlebars, and the blinkers are LED, positioned behind the headlights. The wheels are most likely going to be 19 inches at the front and 17 inches at the rear. Also, it's a no-brainer that it will get dual-channel ABS, with traction control that could be electronically turned on or off.

Also, a horizontally placed TFT screen will be there with the SmartXonnect app, which unlocks several wireless connectivity features and improves the overall riding experience of the rider. This same setup is also present in the TVS Apache RR 310. Last but not least, it will start at around Rs 2.95 lakh ex-showroom, considering the value it will offer, and upon launch, it will compete with the KTM 390 Adventure and Royal Enfield Himalayan.

Verdict
Seems like we don't have to wait too long to get our hands on the all-new TVS Apache RTX 300. Most likely in a few months or even earlier, the company will start with its teasers and clips and eventually launch it. The early view of it looks promising, and the most exciting part is that it is getting an all-new engine, so we're looking forward to how it performs. Plus, it's TVS's first adventurous bike, so that part also makes it special.
