Ultraviolette Automotive has plans to produce the much-awaited Ultraviolette F77 sports electric bike at this plant. The company has planned the production of the new fastest electric motorcycle to commence in the beginning of 2022 and the first batch of the Ultraviolette F77 are scheduled to enter the market by March 2022.

The plant is spread over 70,000 square feet, which has the capacity to produce around 15000 electric motorcycles at first. The facility will be capable of producing up to 1,20,000 units per year. The new production plant will also need manpower therefore, there will be around 500 job vacancies available for the unemployed, and the employees will be trained on EV manufacturing and assembly over the next 5 years.

Commenting on the new facility, Narayan Subramaniam, founder and CEO, Ultraviolette, said, This is an important milestone for us in our journey towards building a superior EV experience for India and international markets. We chose this location given its strategic proximity to our R&D facility in Bangalore as well as a strong supply-chain ecosystem in and around the region.

It is powered by a 25kW electric motor coupled to three 4.2kWh lithium-ion batteries. This air-cooled motor has a power delivery of 33.5 bhp at 2,250 rpm against 90 Nm of torque. It can do 0 to 60kmph in 2.9 seconds and 0 to 100kmph in 7.5 seconds and claims to offer a top speed of 147kmph.
The motorcycle is also equipped with three power modes Eco, Sport and Insane. The F77 battery is fully charged in 5 hours using a standard charger and in 1.5 hours via a fast charger. It is claimed to deliver a range of 130-150km on a full charge.

For braking, it gets a 320mm front disc and a 230mm rear disc brake with dual-channel ABS. The suspension system comprises a USD front fork and preload-adjustable monoshock unit.
Ultraviolette F77 Sport is India's Fastest Electric Motorcycle which is about to start production very soon. The powerful bikes will be launched by March 2022.
