The BMW i7 will be a luxurious electric sedan, that promises to offer all the facilities available in the 7 series range.
Theres no doubt that BMW has been pushing the boundaries of its own designs, with its new vehicles. The recently launched 2023 BMW X7 officially showcased the new dual headlight design, alongside the big gaping front grille. And it seems like the upcoming i7 electric will follow the same path as well. The flagship luxurious electric sedan is the Bavarians answer to the Mercedes Benzs EQS class of luxury coaches. The 2022 BMW i7 is expected to launch on April 20, but a small pre-launch tease of the new vehicles front fascia is now confirming many expectations. Below here we have discussed some of the features and design elements that you should expect with the upcoming 2023 BMW i7 electric sedan.

Starting off with its aesthetics, the i7 will feature the same new updated front fascia as the X7. But the former will get an illuminated grille, as standard. Aside from that, the LED daytime running lights with the turn indicators continue to feature on the top of the bonnet, with the main headlight unit slotting in the front bumper, which again nicely cuts away a sharp line across it that ends connecting the air vents. Speaking of which, there are air vents on both sides, and the central air intake, right underneath those grilles. The rear and side profile will mostly be similar to the regular ICE 7 series.
The upcoming BMW i7 will also debut BMWs theatre screen a 31-inch 8K ultra-wide display for rear passengers. The same will go for the dashboard, which will feature a 14.1-inch infotainment screen and a 14.2-inch digital instrument cluster, all combined together in one big screen, and neatly docked on the dashboard. Other standard features include power doors, a new panoramic sunroof, LED ambient lighting, and plenty of other techs.

Now, coming to its most important aspect - range. Now, before we get to that number, the BMW i7 will be powered by a large 120 kWh of battery pack. This is the same battery that also powers the iX SUVs. There are chances that the i7 might also see its i7 M variant, wherein it will have an excess of 700 hp and be capable of taking the electric sedan from 0-100 km/h in under 4 seconds. Meanwhile, the base i7 xDrive 60i is claimed to have a WLTP range between 610 km 490 kms.
