Maruti Suzuki has commenced the production of their upcoming product, the 2022 Brezza. This compact SUV will not only be rich in features but also mechanically better and will be equipped with more safety equipment. This will be Maruti's eighth product for this year so far.
Design-wise, the new Brezza will be completely fresh. A restyled front fascia, grille, bumper and fog light housing. It'll feature LED headlights with integrated LED daytime running lights, LED foglights and more. We expect that the higher variants of the 2022 Brezza will get faux skid plates that'll give the SUV a sportier look.
Moving towards the side, it's most likely to retain its boxy silhouette. Although, there will be new 16-inch alloy wheels with the SUV. From the rendered spy shots, like the front, the rear profile too will get significant changes. Slimmer LED taillights, reworked bumper and number plate housing. Overall, the new Brezza will surely give a tight competition to its rivals present in the market.

The interior too of the new Brezza will be revamped and will feature a new dashboard design, soft-touch materials, leatherette upholstery and more. Feature-wise, the Brezza will gain most of it from the current version and the new ones include a 360-degree camera, ventilated seats, head-up display and more. We can also expect an electric sunroof with the new version.
Safety features on the new Brezza are hill hold control, electronic stability control, six airbags, tyre pressure monitoring system, hill descent control and more. We also expect that the new Maruti Brezza will have a strong bodyshell so it scores 5 stars at the Global NCAP crash test rating. The current version of the Brezza gets 4 stars.
Mechanically, the new Brezza will get the updated 1.5L DualJet petrol engine with mild-hybrid technology that is seen on the recently launched, XL6 and Ertiga. This motor churns out 102 bhp of power with a peak torque of 136.8 Nm. A 5-speed manual transmission is made standard as before and for the automatic, the 6-speed AT replaces the 4-speed unit. The automatic variants are also equipped with paddle shifters.
