CFMoto has revealed its latest mid-size adventure motorcycle, the 450 MT, at the ongoing EICMA 2023 two-wheeler trade show. Recent reports indicate that the bike's production is set to begin in early 2024, with a global launch to follow shortly thereafter.

2024 CFMOTO 450MT: What's In The Store!
When it comes to its appearance, the CfMoto 450MT has a futuristic design, a trademark of CFMoto. You'll notice vertically stacked LED headlights, a tall mudguard, a lofty stance, and a wide handlebar. To add practicality, they've thrown in luggage racks and pannier stays.
Now, diving into the technical details, it's expected that this adventure bike will share the same 450cc, 270-degree engine as the 450NK model. This engine, delivering around 46.9bhp on the naked street version, is likely to remain unchanged for the adventure variant. Off-road enthusiasts will appreciate its long-travel suspension and a wheel combo of 21 inches in the front and 17 inches in the rear, equipped with dual-purpose tires.

Let's talk weight. The adventure bike has a dry weight of 175 kg. Looking at its components, the 450 MT features a 41 mm KYB upside-down front fork and a KYB multi-link mono-shock at the rear. These components provide 200 mm of travel at both ends, with the added benefit of adjustability for preload and damping. It's a solid package for those who want both style and performance on and off the road.
FMoto will provide a 5-inch curved TFT colour display on their CFMoto 450 MT model, featuring switchable dual-channel ABS and traction control. The display also supports over-the-air (OTA) functionality, allowing for wireless updates.
When introduced in global markets, the CFMoto 450 MT will compete with the Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 and the KTM 390 Adventure. Despite its appeal, the CFMoto 450 MT is unlikely to hit the Indian market anytime soon, as the brand withdrew from the country after a short presence.
