- The Karizma 210 trademark was recently registered by Hero Motocorp
- For the first time, the test mule for the upcoming Karizma has been spotted
- To get more features and a powerful engine
Recently, Hero Motocorp registered new trademarks for the premium motorcycle market. The brand has registered the names Karizma XMR and Karizma XMR 210, which suggests that the Karizma will be making a comeback. The Hero Karizma was one of the most attractive sports motorcycles available at the time, but owing to weak sales, the company discontinued the last model in 2019. The test mule for the soon-to-be-released Hero Karizma XMR 210 has now appeared online. The test mules are heavily camouflaged, but they give a hint about the design style of the upcoming bikes.

Upcoming Hero Karizma XMR Spotted
The upcoming Karizma's fully-faired variant has been spotted in the recently. As has always been tradition for the Karizma brand name, the Karizma will be offered in fully-faired and semi-faired variants. So, if we talk about the recently discovered test bikes, it appears that the Xtreme 200S's fairing served as inspiration. The test mule, however, sports a sharp front fairing, rear view mirrors mounted on the fairing, and LED hazard flashers.
The test mule can be seen on the side with a split seat configuration, with the rider's seat being slightly lower than the rear seat. The upcoming Karizma might not have the USD forks as the test mule has standard telescopic front forks. A fully digital instrument cluster, Bluetooth connectivity, dual-channel ABS, and other modern features are also something we may expect.
If we discuss the engine specifications, we can assume a new 200-210cc engine based on the names Karizma 210 and XMR 210. The expected power output is in the range of 25 bhp and a peak torque of 30 Nm. A 6-speed transmission is rumored to handle transmission duties.

Price & Rivals
Hero Motocorp currently lags behind other manufacturers in the production of high-end sports bikes, but the new Karizma will help the company catch up. The price is anticipated to fall between Rs. 1.30 and 1.75 lakh (ex-showroom). In addition, it will face competition from 200cc bikes in the market, like the TVS Apache 200 and the Bajaj Pulsar RS200 an others.
