The upcoming Hyundai Alcazar is one of the most anticipated SUVs in the country. The 6/7-seater will target the likes of MG Hector Plus, Mahindra XUV500 and Tata Safari. Needless to say, despite being in the same segment, the pricing for the Alcazar will be well played to improve the sales. More about that later as we have caught shots that brings Hyundai Alcazar right outside the dealership and that too in the popular Polar White colour.

The MG Hector Plus rival looks clear in the shots above and carries an aura of its own. Design-wise, the front profile definitely looks like the Creta with the tri-design LED headlights and the similar foglight design but the chrome studded grille really stands out. Do notice the U-shaped thick chrome design, rest, all remains the same.

Similarly, the side profile is now longer than before to accommodate the third-row passengers. Hyundai Alcazar has a wheelbase of 2760 mm that is the highest in the segment. MG Hector Plus provides 2750 mm while Tata Safari wheelbase sticks to 2741 mm only. Hyundai Alazar also has the biggest boot carrying capacity of 180 litres.
Do notice the new 18-inch alloy wheels and the wraparound taillights at the rear that takes inspiration from the Ford Endeavour. You also see the Alcazar lettering at the rear chrome strip along with a skid plate that gives the SUV a sporty look all in all.
On the inside, the Alcazar carries a different cabin theme with a black and cognac brown scheme. This dual-tone shade is much better than the one present in the 5-seater Creta. Feature-wise, Alcazar continues with a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, 360-degree camera, wireless charging, 6 airbags, Traction control, drive modes and more.

Hyundai Alcazar will be available in six variants - Prestige, Prestige (O), Platinum, Platinum (O) and Signature, Signature (O). The optional variants are reserved for automatic transmission and will cost more. Furthermore, these ones will come with additional safety features too. This one seems to be the Signature variant and carries the Polar White colour scheme.
The Alcazar is launching on June 18 and the price for the SUV is expected between Rs 12.50 lakh to Rs 18.99 lakh, ex-showroom, Delhi. Once launched, there will be two engines on sale - a 2.0L petrol making 158 bhp/192 Nm and a 1.5L diesel churning 113 bhp/250 Nm. Both the engines get a 6-speed manual as standard and an optional 6-speed torque converter unit.
