In 2022, Mahindra & Mahindra showcased its lineup of electric SUVs. These electric vehicles are scheduled to be launched between 2024 and 2026. Now, in the first month of 2024, one of Mahindra's 5 electric SUVs, the Mahindra XUV.e9, has been seen undergoing testing. Mahindra XUV e.9 Spotted
The test mule was spotted in Ladakh, indicating that the brand is testing the electric vehicle in chilly weather conditions. Although the test vehicle was fully camouflaged, the SUV's coupe-like roofline and body lines were discernible. Spy shots revealed the side and rear profile of the SUV, clearly showcasing a design similar to the concept model presented by Mahindra. Notable features include a sizable rear spoiler, potentially housing tail lights, and an LED light band. Additionally, the test car exhibited flush door handles, resembling those seen on the concept model.
The forthcoming Mahindra XUV e.9 is anticipated to provide choices for battery capacities ranging from 60 to 80 kWhr, capable of an impressive 175 kW fast-charge and charging up to 80% in less than 30 minutes. Power outputs are expected to range from 230hp to 350hp. Mahindra claims that, based on WLTP testing standards, the battery pack should deliver a range of 435-450km.
