Mahindra XUV300 Facelift To Get Panoramic Sunroof
The current generation XUV300 already boasts a substantial array of features, and Mahindra is aiming to elevate the experience further with additional features in the upcoming facelift. Presently, the XUV300 is equipped with a single-pane electric sunroof, but reports suggest that the facelift will be upgraded to feature a panoramic sunroof. Notably, among the sub-4 metre SUVs, only single-pane sunroofs are available, making the XUV300 facelift potentially the first in its segment to offer a panoramic sunroof.
Among the other changes, the XUV300 will undergo a revamp in its front fascia, presenting a more aggressive appearance with new light design. The redesign will feature a refreshed grille, sleeker LED headlights, and an updated bumper. At the rear, the taillights and bumper will also receive a makeover, contributing to the SUV's contemporary and modern look. These aesthetic updates aim to align the XUV300's styling with the standard set by the XUV700.
The 2024 XUV300 is set to elevate its interior to deliver a more refined and premium experience. Mahindra plans to introduce superior materials, providing customers with a variety of upholstery choices. The facelifted model is also anticipated to feature an upgraded list of amenities, potentially including a larger touchscreen display for the infotainment system and advanced connectivity options.

The available engine options, including the 1.2-liter naturally aspirated (NA), 1.2-liter turbocharged, and 1.5-liter diesel engines, are expected to remain unchanged. The NA petrol engine can be paired with either a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic transmission. The diesel engine is offered with both a 6-speed manual gearbox and an automatic gearbox, while the turbocharged petrol engine comes with a 6-speed manual gearbox.
Verdict
The forthcoming XUV300 facelift is expected to undergo significant updates in terms of its exterior, interior, and features. The addition of a panoramic sunroof is likely to attract more customers, as the demand for sunroofs is currently soaring in the Indian market. While the brand has not officially confirmed this addition yet, we anticipate that the SUV will come equipped with a generous amount of features.
