Mahindra is all set to introduce the Sportz variant of its XUV300 SUV. The upcoming XUV300 Sportz is scheduled to debut in India on October 7. A walkaround video of the new XUV300 Sportz variant has appeared online in advance of the debut. The XUV300 Sportz walkaround video was posted to the YouTube channel The Car Show. Mahindra XUV300 Sportz
The upcoming XUV300 Sportz seen in the walkaround video is in the new dual-tone Mustard Yellow colour with black roof, the exact shade name will be revealed at the launch. Also, the front profile gets a gloss black grille with red accents and the bumper also gets a gloss black finish with red accents around the number plate recess and below that a silver skid-plate is available. The LED DRLs surrounding and fog lamp housing also gets black out treatment. It also gets halogen projector headlamps.
The Sportz edition will have 16-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels, black ORVMs with turn indicators, black wheel arches, and door cladding on the side profile. An LED taillight, a new logo, and XUV 300 badging are available in the back profile. The variant badging is in red colour to represent the sportz edition.
The interior of the XUV300 Sportz will get leather seats and all black treatment. On the features front, it will continue to get dual-zone climate control, touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto & Apple CarPlay, steering mounted audio controls and other features.

On the safety front the XUV300 Sportz will continue to offer six-airbags, all-four disc brakes, ABS with EBD, TPMS, traction control, hill hold control, and other safety features. The safest compact SUV in its class, the XUV300 received a score of 5 stars in the Global NCAP crash test assessment.
Mahindra XUV300 Sportz Engine
Mahindra will offer a retuned 1.2-litre, three-cylinder turbo-petrol engine. It is expected to give a power output of 128 bhp and a peak torque of 230 Nm. This engine will be available with a six-speed manual transmission.
The Mahindra XUV300 Sportz will face competition from the Hyundai Venue N Line and Kia Sonet X Line when it debuts.
