NDS Eco Electric Scooters: What To Expect?
As seen in the exclusive spy shots, there will be primarily two new e-scooters from the OEM. While a glimpse showcase similar design highlights on both test mules, there are marginal differences as well. One of the test mules indicate towards a premium positioning with a futuristic design. This scooter has a sharp front-end design with LED lights and an overall bigger dimension. Moreover, a digital instrument console is also visible in the spy images. Perhaps, we can expect this to get connected features like Bluetooth, navigation, and maybe geo-fencing, etc. Also, the flat footboard area with cubby holes indicate towards practical and utility-based design.
Another interesting thing to note is the flat seat with a wide size. This will prove to be helpful in providing a comfortable ride to the rider and pillion. The aluminium grab rail for the pillion is another highlight of the design. Being an EV, it gets all LED lights. At the rear, the highlights include dual-shockers and a 12-inch alloy wheel for a comfortable ride. While there is no info available about its battery and electric motor; we can expect this particular model to get a long-distance riding range of more than 100 km per charge.

The second scooter spotted alongside, has a more utilitarian design. It is possibly targeted at customers with more utility-oriented use. For example, a silver-finished frame is bluntly visible that houses a flat footboard with a large area to ferry luggage. Moreover, the seat design indicates that the rear seat is removable and can be used with panniers and luggage mounts. Similarly, the rear side panels get luggage mounts and a flatter design to ferry luggage easily. The bright LED headlight, LED taillight, and digital console indicate that it'll also be a fully loaded scooter.
Mechanically, this specific test mule was seen with 12-inch alloy wheels, a telescopic suspension upfront, and dual shockers at the rear. Its overall design and appeal also indicate that it might get battery-swapping technology. Even if not, the long-range is expected to be offered for sure.
Both these scooters appear to have reached the production stage. We suspect that the company will debut these e-scooters in the upcoming weeks. The pricing will be the key factor and our anticipation is a Rs 1-1.20 lakh price bracket for the introductory tag on these EVs.
