The 650cc unit comes with a fuel injection technology and a four-valve head that uses a SOHC setup. The motor is capable of churning out 47 PS of maximum power and 52 Nm of peak torque. To minimize the vibrations RE uses a balancer shaft and a 270-degree crank for unique rumble. The engine is mated to a 6-speed gearbox with slip and assist clutch.
The upcoming Royal Enfield motorcycle can be a super meteor version. The motorcycle will be revealed at EICMA 2021 in Italy. The bike will come with forward set footpegs, teardrop-shaped fuel tank, larger split seat design and wider handlebars. Royal Enfield is also in a mood to introduce another adventure tourer in its line-up that will look quite similar to the existing Himalayan. The bike will come with a swept-up exhaust and a higher ground clearance. RE will not name the upcoming adventure tourer as Himalayan as there is a possibility that this one is not as capable as the Himalayan 411. The company will offer two variants with its Himalayan - one that will come with alloy-wheels which will be a sports tourer and the other one will be offered with the spoked rims which will be a pure adventure tourer. It is also expected that the motor corps will introduce a TFT screen, multiple riding modes, ride by wire, traction control and Bluetooth connectivity. The bike will be introduced by 2023.
Now, comes the third of the upcoming Royal Enfield motorcycles in India, which is the Classic 650. The bike is expected to come with the same design language that of the latest 350 with a 650cc engine installed. No details have been revealed by the company so far but it is said that this Classic 650 will be one of the most affordable motorcycles from its range.
