Tata appears to be planning an electric version of the ACE, its most popular pickup truck. A Tata Ace electric, with Tata Ace EV logo on the side of the cargo cabin of the truck, was recently spotted during a TVC shoot. Aside from the branding, the vehicle resembles the ICE version.

Many start-ups have converted the ICE version of the Ace to an all-electric version in the past, but this will be the first time the truck is delivered with a factory-fitted electric motor. At the time the brand has not revealed any details about the battery pack and range of the Ace EV, but it is expected to be powered by an 18kWh and 20kWh capacity which can offer a range of 120-150km on a single charge.
When it comes to Ace's petrol model, there are two petrol engines to choose from. A two-cylinder, 700cc direct injection diesel engine with 20 horsepower and 45 Nm of torque. Also available is a 694cc 4 stroke water-cooled petrol engine with a rated power of 30 bhp and peak torque of 55 Nm. Plus.

Tata Ace is also available in CNG variant which churns out 25 bhp power and 50 Nm of peak torque. Gold, Gold CX, and HT Plus are the three trim levels available for the light pickup vehicle.
