The Tata Curvv will sport a 1.5-litre diesel engine borrowed from the Nexon SUV, boasting 115 bhp and 260 nm of torque, paired with a 6-speed MT transmission.
While slightly less powerful than competitors like the Seltos and Creta by 1 bhp, the Curvv surpasses them with 10 Nm more torque. There's also a possibility of an AMT transmission option in the future.
It's worth noting that the Kia Seltos diesel offers a unique 6-speed clutchless manual transmission, a feature not found in other vehicles in its class.
