At the front, it gets the signature tri-arrow patterns with blue inserts which are also seen in the Nexon EV. The Blue inserts are visible surrounding the fog lights and the C-pillar segments. The EV badging will be at the front, side profile and at the rear. Also, like the Nexon EV, it too will get an electric blue shade!

Like the ICE HBX, this EV version too will get black body cladding for the lower part of the body. Styling-wise it follows Impact 2.0 design that means split headlight design with LED DRL (Daytime Running Light) at the top and projector headlight unit at the bottom.

We can expect the interiors of the upcoming electric SUV to feature the same design as the Nexon EV. The gear lever will be replaced by a rotary knob with four settings - R, N, D and S. It is not sure if the Sports mode will come in the HBX EV.

It sits on the ALFRA architecture, the same as the Altroz and comes with Ziptron technology. Tata Motors claims that the mini SUV gets an electric range of up to 300 km and will get more than 100PS of power and 200 Nm of torque. It will get fast charging capability and will get a DC Fast Charger.

The beefy HBX which was showcased at the 2020 Auto Expo gets subtle features on the inside. It gets a floating touchscreen infotainment system, semi-digital instrument cluster, multi-function steering wheel, engine start/stop button and among others.
