TVS Apache RTR 310 - Will It Be Different Than BMW G 310 R?
As seen in the leaked photos, the Apache 310 will be a completely unique product. While it is expected to share its engine & chassis components with the BMW G 310 R; its design will be largely different. The bike seen here has an aggressive & unique design which we've never seen on any Apache bike. The taillight is an LED unit and it looks Ducati Panigale-inspired. However, until clear photos emerge, we can't be sure of it. But, the overall design is quite aggressive with a high-set rear design, a new subframe, & new fuel tank extensions.
Other notable features include thicker front USD forks than the BMW counterpart of it. Also, the exhaust seen here is a racing exhaust but we anticipate that the production bike will get a different design of it. Meanwhile, its features list shall include a connected TFT console, LED lights, multiple ride modes, track mode, & even a switchable ABS. TVS will use the same 310cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine as on the RR 310. It develops a peak power of 34 bhp & 28 Nm of peak torque. However, its tuning might be different than the RR 310 due to the changed dimensions & weight.
Verdict
The TVS Apache RTR 310 is a much-awaited bike. TVS is expected to debut it in the coming months. The shoot of TVC shows that TVS is almost done with its development. Additionally, it'll compete with the rivals like KTM 390 Duke, Honda CB300R, & Bajaj Dominar 400. We're expecting that it'll debut around the upcoming festive season. The expected price of it shall be around Rs 2.50 lakh.
