Hazard lamps are indicator lights in vehicles that flash simultaneously to indicate that the vehicle is stationary and can temporarily obstruct the traffic on the road. Additionally, it was often seen that the drivers were using hazard lights as a way of communicating to other drivers that they will be heading straight, which is completely against the rule book. Incorrect use of hazard lights can lead to serious accidents.
With this being said, the hazard lights can be turned on using the hazard light switch which is generally located on the dashboard and should be switched off as soon as you start moving.
