Vietnamese EV maker VinFast is preparing to enter the Indian market and the brand has already started the construction of its first factory in India. The brand has also registered some of the EVs in the Indian market. Now, it seems like VinFast has started testing its vehicle in India. Vinfast VF e34 - Spotted On Test
The test mule of the upcoming VF e34 spotted without any camouflage revealing the identity of the vehicle. The VF e34 is an electric crossover boasting a modern design. The EV features a size similar to Hyundai Creta or MG Astor. The spy shot has revealed the rear design which will boast a LED tail lamp which extends to the brand's logo on the tailgate. However, the front of the test mule was not visible, but it boasts a split LED headlamp setup at front, a closed grille and a LED light bar.
On the sides, the test mule was fitted with multi-spoke alloy wheels, big body cladding, chrome garnish on window sills, and ORVM mounted turn indicators. The test mule has also revealed the availability ORVM mounted camera for the 360-degree view monitoring.
On the features front, the EV comes with a vertically stacked 10-inch touchscreen infotainment, digital instrument cluster, automatic climate control, rotary gear selection dial, Level 2 ADAS, 360-degree camera, multiple USB charging ports among other features.

VinFast VF e34 Powertrain
In the international market the VF e34 comes with a 41.9 kWh battery pack. This battery pack gives a claimed range of 318 km. The EV produces 110 kW of power and 242 Nm of peak torque. The EV comes with Eco, Normal and Sports mode. If we talk about charging the EV can be charged from 10-70% in 27 minutes
Verdict
VinFast is renowned for its EV technology around the world and the brand seems to gave some big plans for the Indian market. The brand has already started the construction of its factory in India and the spotting of new test mule hints that they might bring their first EV sometime in 2025. The VinFast VF e34 is expected to be launched in the range of Rs 20 to 25 lakh and it will compete with the upcoming Hyundai Creta EV, Tata Curvv EV, Mahindra XUV.e8 and other EVs in the same price range.
