Every month carmakers bring in discount offers which are in order to increase the market share and the sales. This February 2021 is no different for Volkswagen as they are providing discount offers worth Rs 65,000 on some of their models.

Volkswagen Polo
The hottest hatchback in the segment is available with a discount of Rs 45,000 which is further seen as Rs 20,000 as the exchange, Rs 10,000 as loyalty and Rs 15,000 as exchange value. The Polo is available with a 1.0L naturally aspirated petrol engine and a more powerful 1.0L turbocharged petrol motor.

It is the latter which is quite popular as it makes 110 PS of power with a peak torque of 175 Nm. This engine is mated to a 6-speed manual and a 6-speed optional torque converter gearbox. The prices of Polo starts from Rs 6.06 lakh and the top model fetches till Rs 9.92 lakh, ex-showroom, Delhi.
Volkswagen Vento
The Vento competes with popular Skoda Rapid, Maruti Ciaz, Hyundai Verna, Toyota Yaris and Honda City. Volkswagen is offering a total discount of Rs 65,000 on the Vento for the top-spec Highline Plus variant. This is further seen as Rs 40,000 corporate discount and another Rs 25,000 as the exchange.

In the other news, Volkswagen has sold all the units of the T-Roc first batch which was brought into the Indian market as a CBU. This SUV competes with Jeep Compass and Skoda Karoq. Since this is sold out so there are no discount offers for the same. Under the hood, it comes with a 1.5L turbocharged petrol motor which makes 150 PS of power with a peak torque of 250 Nm and this engine is mated to a 7-speed DSG gearbox.
