The VW Vento is on its last leg, with very few units left. As part of its clearance plan, VW will offer discounts worth up to Rs. 2.4 lakh on the remaining Vento AT models.
The Vento has been a popular car for Volkswagen, for it gave several Indians the chance to buy an affordable German sedan car. Based on the same platform as the Polo, the Vento looked similar to its hatchback counterpart as well, with the added advantage of elongated boot space. But over time, with minimal design tweaks, and a relatively same cabin the VW Vento felt dated. So, the erstwhile sedan is slated to be replaced by the new Virtus. The launch of which is speculated to happen in the coming months.

If youre a corporate employee and have owned a VW car before then you are right away applicable for this amount of discount, plus an additional Rs. 10,000 on the exchange bonus, over the standard Rs. 25,000. Either-wise, local dealers will have their own set of discounts on the Vento, for they need to clear off the remaining stock to make way for the Virtus.

The engine comes mated to either a 6-speed manual transmission or a 6-speed automatic torque converter. Discount is available on the model equipped with the latter transmission.
