Everyone is aware of the craze of the early 80s and 90s Yamaha motorcycles which better be now called as real icons. It was a steller dream for the youth of that era and everyone wanted to own one. Time changed and we got better-equipped motorcycles and the craze for these motorcycles vanished slowly. Yamaha discontinued the RD350 in 1990 and since then, we have seen some great modifications of the bike but this one is really impeccable.
Little background fist : It has been restored from scratch to a modern cafe racer by Nitin Verma, Pilot with Indigo by profession. Nitin Verma was fond of the RD350 and his elder brother had one when he was a kid. He always had a dream to own an immaculate¦nbsp;RD350. But as we told Yamaha discontinued it in the early 1990s, he bought a used 1984 Yamaha RD350 which was not even in running condition. Nitin with his friend Arif, who was a specialist in bike modifications, restored it. But wait, this isn't the RD350 we are talking about, they modified it to a stock bike and went ahead to modify more RDs and other retro bikes. Then Nitin thought of modifying an RD350 to a modern cafe racer and started the modification process. This is the bike you see here!

It took 2 years of hard work to make this scintillating masterpiece. You are definitely adoring the pictures attached for sure, all shot by Akshay Pareek. Coming to the modification process now, each and every body panel and other parts are either handmade by Arif in his tiny modification shop or have given shape by the lathe machine. No modern and advanced machines have been used in the entire process of the RD350 modification and that justifies why it took 2 years to be built.
