The Bangalore-based electric vehicle manufacturer is now looking to make it big in the segment. The success of its 450X electric scooter has pushed the company on working over a new and better model. Although, Ather has not disclosed the details; rumors over the internet persist indicating a new scooter is under development. Also, A<a href="https://www.91wheels.com/scooters/ather/450x">ther 450X</a> is soon going to get updated with a bigger battery pack. This will enable the 450X to cover longer riding distances on a single charge. The new battery will also be swappable as per the reports on the internet.&nbsp;

Ather Energy is an Indian electric two-wheeler start-up founded by IITians Tarun Mehta and Swapnil Jain in 2013. Ather is a young company but this young enterprise has set a benchmark in the electric two-wheeler space of the country. Ather Energy received seed-funding from Flipkart&rsquo;s co-founders Sachin Bansal and Binny Bansal and the brand launched its first electric scooter Ather 450 in India in 2018. Ather 450 was initially sold only in Bengaluru followed by Chennai and the Indian audience was hugely impressed by this product. Following the 450, Ather also launched the more affordable Ather 340 in India but it was later discontinued and recently the brand has launched its flagship E-scooter Ather 450X. Ather is gradually expanding its reach in the country and the brand is the most sought-after electric two-wheeler because of its interesting products and a unique DC fast charging infrastructure for electric vehicles called Ather Grid. Ather also has its own set of distinctive experience centers known as Ather Space.

One of the oldest electric vehicle manufacturers in India is Okinawa. Formed back in 2015, the company saw the bright future of EVs in India and the development of various products began. Okinawa has been known for making one of the most affordable as well as budget-friendly electric scooters for the Indian market. The variety of products from Okinawa targets customers with various requirements. Okinawa currently makes 7 models for the Indian market. Each product is known for its versatile nature and offering at a low price. Scooters like the Okinawa Dual are made for commercial fleet operators and last-mile delivery services. Similarly, the iPraise e-scooter is made for buyers looking for a long-distance range scooter with premium features. While the recent news has not been in favor of the Okinawa company as multiple scooters were reported with fire-related incidents. Okinawa has made an inner committee to find and fix the issues. The new products from the company are destined to come with a better heat management system for the battery and electric motor. Additionally, Okinawa is currently working on a new scooter range that will offer more riding range. Okinawa is also in talks with multiple public infra companies as such shopping malls, parking lots, etc., to provide the customers with charging station support. The next target for the company remains to enhance the Tier-2 and Tier-3 city sales and services.

Catering to the consistently growing demand for electric vehicles across the country; the Bangalore-based start-up Simple Energy came into existence. The company was formed back in 2019 by a bunch of technically sound auto enthusiast engineers who decided to design and produce new EVs with the latest tech and segment-leading riding range as well. The company designed and produced its first product ever called the Simple One electric scooter. Comprising a futuristic and distinctive design, the concept of the scooter gained a lot of attention. The main talking point became the long-distance riding range equipped battery. The scooter can do up to 240 km on a single charge, which is class-leading. The competition remains far back to achieve such a long-distance riding range. Additionally, with a positive response from the buyers across the country; Simple Energy is now developing a new product. As Simple One is targeted at Tier-1 city buyers, Simple Energy aims to expand itself to the Tier-2 and Tier-3 city networks. To achieve this aim, the company is already working on a low-budget and long-distance riding range e-scooter. Additionally, to provide its customers with good charging support; Simple is in talks with various shopping malls, parking lots, etc., to set up charging stations for its owners pan India.&nbsp;

Here is a quick ride review of the new 2024 VLF Tennis Electric Scooter. Priced at Rs 1.3 lakh, this Italian scooter is being imported into India as CKD (completely knocked down) kit and assembled at Motohaus' facility in Kolhapur.

Motoahaus has launched the VLF Tennis electric scooter in India. The Kolhapur based company has priced this at Rs 1.3 lakh. The VLF Tennis EV has a range of 130km, top speed of 65 and comes with funky elements like large wheels, front & rear disc, dual side swingarm for rear, TFT screen, keyless function etc
