Yamaha NMax 155 Latest Update
Last Updated On 15th Nov'23: The Yamaha NMax 155 has recently received an update in China, featuring the addition of traction control. Yamaha has also incorporated gas-charged units with adjustable preload. While Yamaha has not formally announced plans for its introduction in India, there is speculation that it might be part of Yamaha's strategy to launch some of its international models in the Indian market. The NMax 155 follows the success of the Aerox 155 in China, suggesting it could potentially secure a significant market position in India if introduced.
Engine : In the international market, the Yamaha NMax has a 155cc, single-cylinder, four-stroke, liquid-cooled, fuel-injected engine that is quite technologically sophisticated for a scooter in its class. The engine has a maximum power output of 14.7 bhp and a maximum torque output of 14.4 Nm. The engine for the Indian-spec version might also be the same. In the Indian market, the Yamaha Aerox and R15 are powered by the same engine.
Design
The scooter will have a traditional maxi-scooter design. The scooter features a two-stepped seat with ample storage underneath. You may commute to work or school in comfort and style thanks to the roomy riding posture and long dual seat. It also has bright LED triple headlights and a stylish tail.
Features
Bluetooth connectivity, all-LED lighting, USB charging, and dual-channel ABS are among the features of the NMax 155. On the international market, the freshly modified scooter now has a traction control system (TCS). Additionally, the scooter is equipped with gas-charged twin shock absorbers in place of the normal one, which should enhance the ride. Preload can now be manually adjusted on the shock absorbers as well.
Price And Launch
It's anticipated that the Yamaha NMax 155 will go on sale by the end of 2022 or early 2023. It is anticipated that the cost will be around Rs. 1.40 lakh (ex-showroom).
