When it comes to the specifications and engines of these two motorcycles, They're both driven by a KTM 250 Duke engine with a 248.77cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine that produces 30.84bhp and 24Nm of peak torque. The engine is coupled to a 6-speed transmission with an assist and slipper clutch arrangement. The motorcycles' bodies are constructed on a split trellis frame. Braking duties on both the huskies are done by ByBre 320 mm front and 230 mm rear disc brakes combined with dual-channel ABS. Full-LED lighting, a fully digital instrument cluster, and other features are included.

The Svartpilen 250 also gets the same suspension setup as the Duke 250. It also weighs 4 kilogrammes less, which is ideal for a compact urban sports bike like the Svartpilen.

The Vitpilen 250 also has a circular full-LED headlamp. A single-pod digital instrument cluster sits atop it, similar to the Svartpilen 250, and displays plenty of data. The angular fuel tank runs all the way up to the rider's seat, blending in with a high-set, stubby tail section that houses a small LED tail lamp.

The Svartpilen and Viptlien 401 twins, as well as the Svartpilen 125, have received a minor upgrade for the foreign market. Only cosmetic changes have been made to the already jaw-dropping design appeal of both models by the brand. Both types are mechanically and technically identical.
