Honda has equipped the Honda CD 110 Dream Deluxe with a 109.51cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine. This simple engine has renowned reliability as well as an easy mechanism to fix. The peak power output of this engine is 8 hp & 9.3 Nm of peak torque is developed alongside. A 4-speed gearbox is used to deliver this power to the rear wheel. The power & torque figures might not look exciting on paper, however, the lightweight structure and good gear ratios help the performance of the Honda CD 110 Dream Deluxe. The bike is well established for its low-end torque and capabilities to climb steep inclines with ease. Although the lack of power is felt at high speeds above 60 kmph, the engine is highly fuel-efficient as well. The ARAI-claimed economy is 74 kmpl. 

The Honda CD 110 Dream Deluxe employs relatively small tyres, speaking of which. The front tyre has a size of 80/100-18, while the rear tyre has the same size. This compact design enables simple city handling and good balance even when carrying a passenger and luggage. Due to the size of the tyres chosen, the ride quality is relatively gentle, and the 18-inch tyres provide the ideal balance of performance and fuel efficiency. The Honda CD 110 Dream Deluxe has a front drum brake of 130 mm and a rear drum brake measuring 130 mm, both of which are included in its braking system. The Honda CD 110 Dream Deluxe hasn't altered in this area since it was first introduced. However, the braking is great but insufficient. The bike struggles most when braking in an emergency.

Comparing the Honda CD 110 Dream Deluxe to competitors in the same segment, its dimensions are rather small and elegant. According to the traffic circumstances in India, the 2044 mm length, 736 mm width, and 765 mm height are very reasonable. The bike was created by Honda with Indian drivers in mind. Additionally, the Honda CD 110 Dream Deluxe is much easier to manoeuvre in bumper-to-bumper traffic thanks to its curb weight of 112 kg. The 162 mm of ground clearance is sufficient to handle poor road conditions as well. However, we would prefer a larger gasoline tank than the 9.1 litres now available. When compared to competitors in the segment, the 1285 mm wheelbase is quite short. The short wheelbase helps in more crisp and easy handling during the traffic-filled rides. The 790 mm seat height is a tad bit high but the slim and single seat helps the ease of riding for short riders.
