New Honda 100cc bike is soon going to launch in India. This upcoming commuter model is based on the CD 110 Dream. HMSI has launched an official teaser video of this new bike. Read more details about it below.
New Honda 100cc Bike - Details
As we reported earlier, Honda is all set to launch its new 110cc bike. After the patent photos of this model got leaked online; its official trailer is out now. A new teaser video featuring actor Jimmy Shergill has gone viral online. As per the video depiction, the new model looks designed for rural and sub-urban markets. Even the tagline suggests that Honda has worked on durability rather than features. What we know so far is that it will become the most affordable model in Honda's lineup. It is also likely to be placed under the CD Dream & Livo bikes.
Not to forget, this new model will largely be based on the CD 110 Dream itself. A lot of parts sharing including chassis, engine, & gearbox is expected. However, HMSI will fiddle with the chassis & engine to make it more reliable & fuel economical. Additionally, this model will also reduce the market share of the segment leader i.e. Hero Splendor Xtec. We're expecting a generic design with utility-based features and performance.
Verdict
As the teaser video is out, the bike might launch anytime in the upcoming days. With that said, it will expand the portfolio of HMSI in the commuter segment. As it will be likely placed under the 110cc lineup; we expect its price to remain around Rs 65,000-70,000.
