Hero MotoCorp has updated their 125cc commuter bike for MY2025 - Hero Glamour at Rs 86,698, and the biggest new thing here is that its engine is now compliant with OBD-2B to meet government emissions regulations. Also, the prices have gone up by Rs 2,000, and everything else remains the same. Moreover, this motorcycle is quite simple and doesn't really need to be feature-loaded but still feels like a modern product. Let's discuss more below. 2025 Hero Glamour

Hero Glamour prices have gone up, and now start at Rs 86,698 for the Glamour Drum Brake OBD2B variant, and the second variant with OBD2B costs Rs 90,698 (ex-showroom). Although earlier variants without this update are still listed on the official Hero site. Now, this 124.7cc, air-cooled 4-stroke engine makes 10.53 ps and 10.4 Nm of torque, achieving 63 km/l of fuel economy. It's important to remember that power figures remain unchanged.
Features

This 121.3 kg motorcycle is not as basic as one would think of it - LED headlamps, digital console with real-time indicator, mobile charging port, front disc brakes, and chequered stripes design, along with a tall stance with 170 mm of ground clearance, make it a good-looking bike which sits above the Splendor XTEC. So, if you're opting for the drum brake variant, then 4 colour options are there - Candy Blazing Red, Black Metallic Silver, Techno Blu Met Blk, and Black-Sports Red. However, with the top-spec disc brake, the Black-Sports Red paint omits, so only the other three are there.

Verdict
Hero Glamour is also OBD-2B compliant now, and for that reason, its price has gone up. Apart from this technical update, everything remains the same. That said, this won't affect the sales, as the people who go on to buy this bike own it for its reliability, top-notch fuel efficiency, and supremely cheap maintenance. Also, the engine is refined and has optimum power, and taking control of it is very easy. For city rides, this is a great option with good looks powered by bold colours and solid graphics.
