Pros & Cons of Bajaj Pulsar 125 Neon
Bajaj Pulsar 125 Neon Detailed Review
The Pulsar brand has revolutionized the Indian two-wheeler market. To cater to the same buyers who love the timeless design and the aggressive looks of the old Pulsar, the Pulsar 125 Neone is launched. It looks larger, more aggressive, and thus more imposing than most 125cc motorcycles in the country which are very plain to look at. It features a pillion grab rail, side panel mesh, and colour coordinated Pulsar logo. The pulsar 125 neon has a standard halogen headlight on the front while the taillight is an LED unit. It looks aggressive but the dual-LED taillamps ensure that the style is balanced and does not look too intimidating. It is one of the only bikes to get a clip-on handlebar. The riding posture is upright and the seat height is 790mm which is accessible for most riders. The seat cushion is a little on the firmer side but modifications according to one’s liking can be done. The body of the Mud Guard for Bajaj Pulsar 125 Neon protects the bumper and the backside from mud being thrown up and reduces the risk of stone chippings. The overall design and outlook of the Pulsar 125 Neon make it a hit among Tier-2 and Tier-3 city buyers.
Summary
The Pulsar 125 neon brings a sense of similarity to the users as it has a very similar design to it’s relative, the Pulsar 150. It also works better than most 125cc motorcycles.

The height of the motorcycle is at 1060mm. The fuel capacity is at 11.5L which is pretty extraordinary when compared to its rivals like Hero and other motorcycles. It offers a well-proportioned ground clearance of 165mm. Kerb Weight or the weight of the motorcycle without the user or luggage is 142kg.
Summary
The Pulsar 125 Neon is easy to ride and has high fuel capacity in comparison to the rivals.

Unlike the other Bajaj Pulsar series bikes, the new 125 Pulsar Neon has a short-capacity engine. The Bajaj Pulsar 125 Neon comes equipped with a 4-Stroke Engine, single-cylinder which means it has more fuel efficiency. There is also very little pollution as power is produced once every four strokes. The max power is 12PS and has a peak torque power of 11Nm at 6500rpm. When it comes to performance, the Pulsar 125 Neon can go from 0-60kmph in approximately 60 seconds. The top speed on the motorcycle is 105kmph even though the Pulsar feels comfortable cruising around 80kmph at around 6000rpm. Minor vibrations can be experienced on the seat, foot pecks and handlebars after it hits 100kmph. There are 5 gears in the motorcycle. There is a slight difficulty while shifting gears from gear 1 to gear 2 but it is manageable. The fuel used is Petrol. Overall, it is easier to commute on this vehicle on a day-to-day basis and can also be used for long trips due to its fuel capacity. This engine is designed to cater to the buyers who want the aggressive looks of the Pulsar but with a fuel economical engine along with it.
Summary
The Bajaj Pulsar 125 Neon feels comfortable to cruise around at moderate speeds and also causes less pollution due to its 4-Stroke Engine when compared to a 2-Stroke Engine.

The tyre and brake combination of the Pulsar 125 Neon makes it one of the easy handling and comfortable motorcycles in the segment. The bigger size of tyres ensures that the riders can easily ride the ePulsar 125 Neon on high speed corners without any fear. Additionally, the tyres of the Pulsar 125 Neon are tubeless which means there will not be any quick punctures. The wheels are made of an alloy, which means the strain placed on the suspension of the motorcycle will be less. Alloy wheels are also light, help in handling ease, and fuel economy as well. The suspension set-up consists of the telescopic fork on the front and twin shock absorbers at the back. The ride quality is impressive at city speeds. The bike manages speed breakers and bad roads in an effortless manner but at sharp ends, the rear end feels a little firm. The front brake offers stability while the lever action is slightly weak. The CBS (Combined Braking System) is present in this motorcycle. The CBS prevents the wheel from quickly getting locked. Therefore, avoids skidding. It does not provide a braking system like ABS which is more trustworthy than CBS. Occurrences of accidents would significantly go down if ABS is applied. The Pulsar 125 Neon also has a large display that shows the speed, fuel gauge, trip meter and odometer. Also, it is the only bike in the category to add backlit switches, which prevents accidents occurring at night.
Summary
The Bajaj Pulsar 125 Neon has many features, some of which are astounding like the backlit switches and the fuel capacity. The ability of the bike to ride on bad roads and speed breakers is remarkable. The features it provides at such an affordable rate is very useful to people who travel a lot but cannot afford an expensive mode of transport.
