Audi’s most powerful and athletic ICE vehicle on sale right now is the RS Q8. It takes the Q8 badge forward with a 4.0L twin-turbo V8 that produces 631 hp and 627 lb-ft of torque. This same engine, with different tuning, is also found in several high-performance cars like the Lamborghini Urus, Porsche Cayenne, and Bentley Bentayga. Beyond all the performance drama, the RS Q8 is also a high-end luxury SUV, offering plenty of space and advanced technology features.

Last Updated On 9th Sept'25: The Audi A6, currently in its 5th generation, hasn’t received any updates in a long time. However, Audi has globally revealed its 6th generation, which will launch in 2026 internationally, but there are no reports on the India launch.

RS Q8, also known as the budget-friendly Lamborghini Urus, was launched in India in February 2025 with mild new updates. It continues to be powered by a 4.0L twin-turbo V8 and has a top speed of 305 km/h. Since then, no updates have been given to it.

What we admire in this car

It shares its DNA with the Lamborghini Urus - same platform and engine.

This 2494 kg SUV can do 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.4 seconds.

Can also be used as a daily driver considering its comfortable ride.

It looks much more handsome and sharper than the regular Q8.

What could have been better

The exhaust note could have been better.

Despite its outstanding screens and interior layout, it appears outdated when compared to other German luxury SUVs.

Not as practical as other Audi cars.

The 4.0L V8 drinks fuel like a fish.
