2025 Audi RS Q8; Details
On the outside, the RS Q8 retains the core silhouette of the regular Q8, but it differentiates itself from its standard sibling with the use of more aggressive, sportier elements, such as an all-black grille with a honeycomb pattern, along with the use of carbonfibre elements on the bumpers, LED Matrix headlights, 22-inch wheels, and OLED tail-lamps.
The interiors of the RS Q8 do not give away the fact that you're inside the sportier version of the SUV. It gets the familiar dual-screen setup on the centre console, along with a newer, round steering wheel. The interiors are swathed in Race-Tex black upholstery, and in terms of features, the RS Q8 receives Sport Seats Plus with extra bolstering, along with four-zone climate control, electric sun blinds, active roll stabilization, adaptive air suspension, and rear-axle steering among other things.
Under the hood, the RS Q8 gets the familiar 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 powertrain, putting out 591bhp and 800Nm of torque, while paired to an 8-speed automatic transmission, and with a claimed 0-100kmph time of 3.8 seconds. These power figures move up to 631bhp and 850Nm of torque in the RS Q8 Performance trim.
Verdict
The RS Q8 will be a welcome change for Audi fans in India after the e-tron SUVs and the standard Q8. It looks sporty, it is loud, and it goes fast, which are the exact things the buyer of a sporty luxury SUV looks for.
