Citroen eC3

Citroen is planning to update the eC3 electric hatchback, with the refreshed model expected to arrive around early 2026. The update is likely to focus on adding more features such as push-button start, keyless entry, cruise control, LED lighting, and possibly a 360-degree camera.

Citroen has partnered with BluSmart Mobility and signed an MoU to supply 4,000 units of the eC3 electric hatchback to expand BluSmart’s all-electric ride-hailing fleet. The collaboration aims to promote sustainable mobility and strengthen EV adoption in India

Citroen planned feature updates for the C3, eC3, and C3 Aircross, aimed at making them more premium and competitive in their segments. The updates were expected to introduce features like keyless entry, push-button start, automatic climate control, LED headlights, leather upholstery, and a new digital instrument cluster

The Citroen eC3 electric hatchback received a disappointing 0-star rating for adult occupant safety and 1-star rating for child occupant safety in the Global NCAP crash tests. The EV scored 20.86/34 points for adult safety and 10.55/49 points for child protection.

Citroen has launched the eC3 Shine as the new top-spec variant, priced at Rs 13.20 lakh (ex-showroom). The variant adds cosmetic upgrades like 15-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels and faux skid plates, along with new features such as a reverse camera, electrically adjustable ORVMs, rear defogger, and leather-wrapped steering wheel.
