  • The fancier features are mostly found in the highest-spec models
  • The turbo-petrol versions cost more and only come with a manual transmission
  • Inside, the SUV has lots of features, but the design might seem a bit old-fashioned
  • The petrol and turbo-petrol engines aren't as fuel-efficient as some other cars in the class
  • It doesn't have rear AC vents, unlike some of its rivals

• The bold front design is accentuated by vertical LED daytime running lights, complemented by a stylish chrome grille and sleek headlight design. Moving downward, the false skid plate and four-slat chrome strips add to the SUV's sporty appeal, completing the front fascia and enhancing its overall appearance.

• The interior of the Mahindra XUV300 exudes a pleasant and upscale feel. The dual-tone color scheme enhances the cabin's spaciousness and lends it a premium look. However, the light color scheme is prone to showing dirt easily. The use of lighter hues on the leatherette seats gives the impression of a vehicle from a higher segment. 
• Equipped with an 8.0-inch touchscreen, the XUV300 offers connectivity features such as Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. In terms of features, the XUV300 includes amenities like cruise control, push-button start/stop, power-folding ORVMs, an electrically adjustable sunroof, projector headlights with LED daytime running lights, automatic headlights with follow-me-home function, steering-mounted controls, and much more

Excellent Handling In its Segment 9

• The Mahindra XUV300 offers impressive handling and ride characteristics. Its suspension system is finely tuned to ensure a comfortable ride over rough terrain, effortlessly absorbing bumps and uneven surfaces. Even at highway speeds, the SUV maintains composure, providing a smooth and stable ride. Driving around curves is a pleasant experience, as the XUV300 feels confident and assured.
• The XUV300 features an adjustable steering system with three distinct modes: Normal, Comfort, and Sports. Both the standard and Comfort modes are well-suited for city driving, offering ease of maneuverability. However, switching to the Normal mode introduces a slight increase in steering weight. 
• It's only when you engage the Sport mode that the steering delivers precise input and balance, enhancing the driving experience as intended by the manufacturer. While Sport mode enables confident cornering at higher speeds, Normal mode remains suitable for city driving conditions.

Three Engine Options To Suit Every Buyer 9

• The Mahindra XUV300 offers three engine choices, including a 1.2-liter turbocharged petrol unit and a 1.5-liter diesel engine. Additionally, there's a 1.2-liter three-cylinder Tgdi turbo petrol engine available.
• The turbocharged petrol engine delivers up to 128 bhp and a peak torque of 230 Nm, providing impressive performance.
• The diesel engine stands out with the highest torque among sub-compact SUVs in India, generating 115 bhp and 300 Nm of peak torque from its 1,497cc displacement. On the other hand, the 1,198cc petrol motor produces 108.6 bhp and 200 Nm of peak torque.
• Both engine options come with a standard 6-speed manual transmission and an optional 6-speed AMT unit. While the petrol motor exhibits excellent refinement levels at idle, it becomes somewhat noisy under heavy acceleration.
