• What could have been better

  • The Baleno lacks turbo petrol and diesel engine choices
  • The automatic transmission exhibits a noticeable lag. It lacks the smoothness seen in rival offerings with CVT or DCT.
  • It doesn't deliver an enjoyable driving experience, as the engine is tuned more for efficiency
  • Several features are absent which can be seen in competitors. They include an air purifier, rear armrest, sunroof, and TPMS.
  • The higher variants of the Baleno are pricey. The features provided do not seem to justify the cost.

• The exterior of the 2022 Baleno is a significant improvement compared to its predecessor. At the front, the car showcases a bold new grille and redesigned bumpers. It has fresh LED daytime running lights (DRLs) and LED fog lamps with chrome detailing. The air dams on the bumpers are now narrower.
• The side profile gets 16-inch diamond cut alloy wheels, which look good on the vehicle. Moving to the rear, the car undergoes changes. It now has new tail lamps that extend to the tailgate.
• The dimensions of the 2022 Baleno include a length of 3990 mm, a width of 1745 mm, and a height of 1500 mm. With a wheelbase of 1500 mm, there is ample room for rear passengers. • The interior of the 2022 Baleno exhibits a refined and more luxurious design compared to its predecessor. Notable features include a new flat-bottom steering wheel. It also has redesigned air conditioning vents, Plus, a dual-colored dashboard. The car is equipped with a 9-inch Smartplay Pro+ infotainment system. It features Suzuki Connect and offers over 40 smart functions. The top-tier model also boasts an ARKAMYS sound system.
• The Baleno sets industry benchmarks. It's the first in its segment to have a 360-degree camera, heads-up display (HUD), and Alexa connectivity through Suzuki Connect. The back of the hatchback remains comparable to the previous generation. The top-tier model features a 60:40 split seat and rear headrests.

Relaxed Driving Experience With Fuel Efficient Engine 8

• The Baleno is equipped with a 1.2-litre four-cylinder K-Series DualJet engine that delivers 89 bhp and 113 Nm of peak torque. This engine features the Idle Start Stop (ISS) system. The system automatically turns off the engine when the vehicle comes to a halt. It restarts the engine when the brake pedal is pressed in AMT or the clutch in MT.
• The 2022 Baleno incorporates hydraulic clutch technology. This contributes to smoother shift performance and increased clutch longevity. Remarkably, even with a full load of five people and luggage in the boot, the Baleno maintains a strong and responsive feel. It does this with its DualJet petrol motor, demonstrating agility and efficiency.
• The AGS (AMT) efficiently handles its responsibilities.The car shifts gears smoothly in the city. When passing other cars or driving on curves on the highway, the car may not shift up as early as you might want. But this helps the car save fuel in the city and on the highway.
• The Baleno boasts a considerable amount of readily available power. You can access it with a simple tap. It's not designed for enthusiasts. However, some individuals might find the early upshifts to be a drawback. Nevertheless, the gearbox has a manual override option. This enables you to hold the gear and make shifts as required.

• The steering is now heavier. It feels better and responds faster. The Baleno has bigger brakes than before, so it brakes efficiently. The  Baleno doesn't nose dip as much when braking, which makes you feel more confident.

  Best car in the price tag. Good comfort for long drives, excellent mileage - On highways i have got upto 35km/l. In city, about 14 km/l. Average from tank full to tank full: 22.5 km/l. With a 360-degree camera, maneuvering in busy areas is very easy. Crossover over road humps is very comfortable with AGS Drive.
