• For those considering the Grand Vitara for family use, the rear bench has plenty of space. The front and rear seats are designed for comfort, a notable advantage.
• The SUV's boot space varies depending on the chosen engine. The regular Smart Hybrid model offers 373 liters of boot space. This is a decent offering for its segment. However, the Strong Hybrid, featuring a battery pack, sees a reduction in boot space to 265 liters. This could be a consideration for family-oriented buyers who prioritize cargo space. It emphasizes the importance of choosing the right engine variant for individual needs.
• The top variant has many features. • Maruti provides a selection of three powertrains for the Grand Vitara. The first option features the familiar 1.5-liter engine petrol engine. This naturally aspirated engine generates 103 PS of power and 136.8 Nm of torque. It comes with the choice of a 5-speed manual gearbox or a 6-speed automatic transmission. This engine excels in fuel efficiency and smooth operation. But, it may lack outright acceleration.

• The second powertrain is a robust hybrid setup, allowing for electric-only driving. It combines a conventional engine with an electric motor. It also has a substantial battery pack. In EV-only mode, the engine remains off, providing significant fuel savings. This strong hybrid configuration is exclusive to the automatic gearbox. It boasts a claimed economy of 27.97 kmpl.

• At last, it also comes with a 1.5-liter CNG powertrain, sharing the same engine, producing 87.8 bhp and 121.5 Nm of torque. In petrol mode, these figures increase to 100.6 bhp and 136 Nm of torque.

• With 2025MY, now customers can choose the AllGrip Select with a 6-speed automatic transmission. Earlier, it was only available with a 5-speed manual gearbox with the Alpha trim, but now customers have the option to choose automatic convenience with 4WD capabilities. Moreover, this AllGrip 4WD system is only available with the 1.5L engine making 103 ps and 139 Nm of torque.

• Maruti Grand Vitara delivers a well-balanced combination of ride comfort and handling. When driven with just a single occupant, the ride tends to feel slightly firmer. However, it never feels excessively firm. However, with a fuller complement of passengers, the ride becomes perfectly comfortable.
• SUV adeptly navigates uneven surfaces. Even with a full load, the rear suspension remains resilient without bottoming out. The ground clearance is commendable, especially in the AWD model. It contributes to its off-road capabilities.
