Latest Updates on C-Class
The all-electric Mercedes-Benz C-Class has been teased at the IAA Mobility Show, previewing the brand’s upcoming electric sedan ahead of its global debut in 2026. It features a new illuminated grille design inspired by the GLC EV, will be based on the dedicated MB.EA platform.
The updated Mercedes-Benz C-Class facelift has been spotted testing with new tri-arrow LED DRLs, aligning its design with newer models like the E-Class and S-Class. It is also expected to get a revised grille, updated headlamps, new alloy wheels, and the latest MBUX system, while continuing with the same petrol and diesel engine options.
The 2024 Mercedes-Benz C-Class and GLC receive updates with a new C 300 AMG Line petrol variant replacing the earlier diesel option, along with improvements to powertrain and driving dynamics. Both models now get added features like ventilated front seats, a 360-degree camera, digital key and enhanced safety tech, while the GLC also gains rear side airbags to further improve occupant protection.
The 2022 Mercedes-Benz C-Class debuts in India as an all-new generation model inspired by the flagship S-Class, bringing a more premium design and tech-heavy cabin. It also stands out for its impressive efficiency of up to 23 kmpl from the diesel variant, making it one of the most fuel-efficient luxury sedans in its class, while offering updated engines with mild-hybrid tech for improved performance and efficiency.
Production of the new-generation Mercedes-Benz C-Class has commenced at the brand’s Chakan plant in Pune ahead of its India launch, marking the start of local manufacturing. The fifth-gen sedan is set to debut in May with petrol and diesel variants, along with mild-hybrid tech and a more tech-rich, S-Class-inspired cabin.
