PMV EaS-E Detailed Review
The design of this recently launched most affordable electric car is just eye-catching. This car looks micro but can seat up to 3 people comfortably. The front profile is flanked by LED daytime running lights on the top and headlights at the bottom. The LED DRLs are integrated into the grille itself and the gloss black highlight on the grille, door handles, wheel covers, ORVMs, roof and on more places gives the PMV Electric car an aesthetic look. As far as the dimensions are concerned then this car measures 2,915 mm in length, 1,157 mm in width and gets a height of 1,600 mm. This car is good for even tall passengers as it provides a good headroom.
On the inside, it gets a dual-tone black and beige colour scheme. It gets a decent amount of storage spaces as well and can hold 1L bottles easily at the door panels. At the front, it gets a driver’s seat while at the rear, the width of the seat is wider so it can seat 2 adults comfortably. Overall, the interior of the PMV Electric seems justified for a car of this size and price.
Here you get all-four power windows, a touchscreen infotainment system which is Android based, a digital instrument cluster, push start/stop button and more. There are several parts on this car that has been borrowed from other existing models in India. The production-ready model is yet to be brought in the market and when that comes, the list of features can be confirmed by then.

The battery capacity of this car is not yet out but it generates 13 hp of power on tap with a peak torque of 50 Nm. In addition to this, it gets a top-speed of 70 kmph and 0 to 50kmph sprint is observed in just 5 seconds. The driving range for the same sticks to 120 km for the base variant and the carmaker plans to launch a top-spec variant too with a higher driving range. The charging time is unknown but it can be charged via a 15A charger.
Here, the electric car manufacturer offers the basic safety equipment like an anti-lock braking system with electronic brake-force distribution, airbags, reverse parking sensors, front-seat belt reminder and more.

Last updated On 16th May'23 : Said to be India’s most affordable electric car, the 2 Seater PMV EaS-E is priced at Rs 4.79 lakh (ex showroom) for the 160 km range variant. It can now be preordered by paying a fully refundable amount of Rs 2000. Available in 11 colors, the PMV EaS-E deliveries are expected to start by June this year. It is also expected to come in higher range variants in the future, likely 200 or 200+ km. However, no specs or pricing details of the higher range variants have been disclosed by the company yet.
