PROS
1. Stylish And Build Quality
The Ather 450X mirrors the design language of Ather's 450-series scooters, exuding a sporty and youthful vibe. The front is marked by a sleek LED headlight and LED turn indicators mounted on the handlebar cowl. Additionally, it features a streamlined single-piece seat with a rear grab-rail for added convenience that blends in neatly with the overall styling. Taking it further is the build quality that feels premium and doesn't rattle or leave any room for complaints.
2. Thrilling Ride
The Ather 450X is equipped with a 3.7 kWh battery and features an upgraded permanent magnet AC motor that provides enhanced power and torque. It achieves a top speed of 90 km/h and excels in acceleration, reaching 0-60 km/h in just 6.94 seconds. This impressive pickup ensures a brisk and responsive riding experience in urban settings and you will zoom past the traffic at the red light from the standstill.
3. Decent Range
The Ather 450X gets a decent certified range of 150 km with the 3.7 kWh battery pack and a 111 km range with a smaller 2.9 kWh pack. While the company claims a true range of around 110 km and 90 km respectively, if you can spend a little more, I'll suggest you go for the 3.7 kWh version, as extra juice will always be worth it, especially when it's an electric mover.
CONS
1. Ride Quality
With all that said and done, the suspension of the Ather 450X is on the stiffer side. While it can be a good thing while riding on highways as it will feel more planted on smooth roads, it mostly has city errands to run, and the potholes and troughs feel jerky and you will feel them transferred to your body. A softer suspension would have made it a better overall package.

2. Seat Size Could Be Better
Another shortcoming that the 450X has is the seat width. The seat is narrow both for the rider as well as the passenger. Due to this, the sitting comfort somewhat lacking over a longer period of time, and coupe this with the stiff suspension and the experience isn't very pleasant so as to say. However, if you use it for short quick city rides, you will just be fine. But if you run out of charge at the end of the day, every day, I feel that this might not be that comfortable.
3. App Sometimes Feel Buggy
While the scooter connects seamlessly to the app on your smartphone, it sometimes isn't the smoothest experience. Sometimes, the app and the scooter connectivity take some time and feel a bit buggy, and although this isn't a regular thing, it is there. The app experience can be improved in my opinion for better connectivity.
