Mahindra Scorpio Classic Vs Mahindra Thar Roxx: Engine And Mileage
The Scorpio Classic shares its 2.2-litre mHawk diesel engine with the Thar Roxx and other SUVs from the same family, like the Scorpio-N, Thar three-door and XUV700. However, there's a catch: this 2.2-litre diesel engine is offered in different states of tune in the Mahindra SUVs mentioned above.
This 2.2-litre mHawk diesel engine claims lesser power and torque outputs in the Scorpio Classic than the RWD manual, RWD automatic and 4WD manual versions of the Roxx diesel. The 4WD automatic version of the Mahindra Thar Roxx is even more powerful. While the Thar Roxx has significantly more power and torque than the Scorpio Classic, the latter has a relatively higher ARAI-claimed fuel efficiency.
