Tata Motors launched the facelift of its sub-4 meter SUV, the Nexon in September last year. The Nexon holds a strong position in the Indian market owing to its good sales numbers. Tata Motors updated the Nexon with an all-new design, new features, and a new transmission option last year which has increased its appeal and road presence. In this article, we'll explain what we think of its exterior and interior design in our first look review. Tata Nexon - Design
The Nexon facelift has received a significant revamp. The front profile has received an all-new fascia with a new front grille, vertically stacked headlamp assembly, new LED DRLs with integrated sequential turn indicators, and a redesigned bumper with new air vents. Moreover, the front bumper gets a faux silver skid plate
The side profile now comes with new aerodynamic 16-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels and a new ORVM design with integrated turn indicators. Also, the dual-tone variants come with blacked-out roofs, pillars, and blacked-out ORVMs.
The rear profile is also new with a connected LED light bar, and a new tail lamp design, the bumper now houses reverse light and reflector along with a faux skid plate.
If we talk about the colour options, the Nexon comes with single-tone and dual-tone colour options. The single-tone options are namely Calgary White, Daytona Grey, Flame Red, Pure Grey, Creative Ocean, Fearless Purple, and Atlas Black. The dual-tone options on the other hand are based on trim levels, the Creative trim gets 3 dual-tone colour options namely Creative Ocean with White, Flame Red with White, and Daytona Grey with White. The Fearless trim gets 4 dual-tone colour options namely Pristine White with Black roof, Fearless Purple with Black roof, Daytona Grey with Black roof, and Flame Red with Black roof.

Tata Nexon - Interior
The Nexon facelift's interior has also received a big revamp in terms of design and features. The dashboard of the new Nexon features a new design for the dashboard with three-tone colour use based on the variant. Along with the new dashboard, the Nexon boasts a new 10.25-inch infotainment display and a new 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster.
Below the infotainment screen, it features the center air vents and a new HVAC control panel with touch-sensitive controls. The Nexon now gets a new center console area with a wireless charging pad and other features. The facelift also comes with a two-spoke steering wheel with an illuminated Tata logo.
For enhanced comfort, the brand has added more cushioned seats with good bolstering at the front as well as for the rear row. The seats also get contrast colour treatment depending on the variant and exterior colour option.
On the features front, the Nexon facelift comes with an electric sunroof, automatic climate control with Xpress Cool function, ventilated seats, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a 360-degree camera, and front parking sensors among other features.
Tata Nexon Dark
The Nexon also comes with a Dark edition which boasts an all-black exterior and interior theme. It gets Atlas Black exterior paint and a black interior with blue stitching on the steering and seats. The black edition also gets all-blacked alloy wheels.
Tata Nexon Engine Specifications
The Nexon facelift comes with two engine options, a 1.2-litre turbocharged petrol engine and a 1.5-litre diesel motor. The former produces 118.2 bhp of power and 170 Nm of peak torque. This engine comes mated to a 5-speed manual, an AMT, and a 7-speed DCT gearbox. The latter produces 113 bhp of power and 260 Nm of peak torque. This engine comes mated to a 6-speed manual and a 6-speed AMT gearbox.

With the launch of the facelift the brand has enhanced the features offering and variant offering of the Nexon making it suitable for every kind of buyer.
