Pros & Cons of Royal Enfield Himalayan
Royal Enfield Himalayan Detailed Review
A dual-purpose adventure motorcycle with authentic ADV styling is the Royal Enfield Himalayan. The motorcycle has many off-road-specific components. For instance, it has a large, blacked-out fly screen and a spherical, halogen headlamp up front (visor). Even better, it has two mudguards up front, one of which is elevated and serves a purpose in addition to looking fantastic. Front fork cover gaiters, an aluminium bash plate, and other features are also added to the motorcycle. Additionally, RE has included a new front rack that is ergonomically adjusted, leaner than before, and helps the rider experience less interference around the legs while riding, improving the whole riding experience. It regrettably lacks an LED headlamp and even LED daytime running lights.
One can see the motorcycle's robust stance while looking at the side profile. A lofty seat and an upright handlebar are now standard on the 2018 Royal Enfield Himalayan, and the firm has also unveiled some new colour options. On the body panels of this adventure, bike are new, beautiful graphics, and the seat has been replaced with one that is more comfortable and has superior padding. The RE Himalayan receives an updated steel rear carrier with an additional plate to ensure tight attaching and positioning of any luggage, as well as a new LED tail light at the rear. This ADV also has spoke wheels. Six different colour options are available for the Royal Enfield Himalayan. New Pine Green, New Granite Black, Mirage Silver, Rock Red, Lake Blue, and Gravel Grey are the

The upgraded Royal Enfield Himalayan has a 411cc, single-cylinder, 4-stroke, SOHC, air-cooled engine that complies with BS6, as well as fuel injection technology. This BS6 motor produces 32 Nm of maximum torque at 4000–4500 RPM and 24.8 PS of power at 6500 RPM. A 5-speed manual transmission with constant mesh is connected to the engine. The Himalayan's engine excels off the road because of its strong low-end performance, and it can also easily travel at highway speeds all day long at respectable speeds.
While the BS6 Himalayan's top-end isn't very thrilling, it does the job admirably and provides decent low-end and midrange punch. This motor is extremely untense and exhibits no signs of stress. The Himalayan's engine is quite tuned and smooth. Additionally, it doesn't heat up very rapidly, which is actually a good feature and will be welcomed by many hard-core riders. For thrill seekers, the Himalayan is a superb motorcycle. The new Royal Enfield Himalayan 400, which complies with BS6, gets roughly 30-35 km per gallon in actual riding situations, which is excellent given it is a dual-purpose motorbike.
Summary
The new Royal Enfield Himalayan BS6 offers decent performance, and it excels both off the road as well as on the road. The Himalayan offers decent fuel economy too. All the qualities make the Himalayan an incredibly good dual-purpose motorcycle.

The motorbike has large 41 mm telescopic forks up front with 200 mm of travel, and a mono-shock absorber with 180 mm of wheel travel at the back. The Himalayan has excellent ride quality and is at ease on uneven surfaces because of its long-travel suspension configuration. This ADV has enormous tyres for greater off-road performance. At the front, it has a 21-inch tyre, and at the back, a 17-inch one. The motorcycle's rear tyre, which is a 17-inch unit with a 120/90 section, is 90/90-21 in size. These Royal Enfield Himalayan tyres provide the rider more grip and assurance.
The Royal Enfield Himalayan has disc brakes on both ends for braking purposes. It has a 300 mm disc up front, and a 240 mm disc unit in the back. The Himalayan is ergonomically perfect for someone who is 5'10 or above. But that doesn't mean short riders can't swing a leg over it. Its lowest-in-class seat height (800 mm) ensures that it is ergonomically friendly for even slightly shorter riders.
