A new, Premium Edition of Bajaj's Chetak electric scooter has been released, priced at Rs. 1,51,910 lakh (ex-showroom, Bengaluru). The premium edition has several aesthetic improvements and costs Rs 30,000 more than the standard variant. Together with other market-leading features, the updated model gets new colour palettes, additional features, an all-metal body, and an effective onboard charger. The company also offers the Chetak in a normal edition for Rs. 1,21,933 lakh (ex-showroom, Bengaluru). Bookings are already being accepted for the Bajaj Chetak premium edition, deliveries will begin in April.

Bajaj Chetak Premium Edition

The new Chetak Premium Edition is an updated avatar with a sophisticated appearance. The edition is available in three colours: matte coarse grey, matte caribbean blue, and satin black, according to the manufacturer. A brand-new addition to the 2023 Edition is an all-color LCD console that clearly and easily shows vehicle information. The premium variant also has a two-toned seat, body-colored rearview mirrors, a satin black grab rail, and matching pillion footrest castings. The headlamp housing, blinkers, and centre trim components are now in lustrous Charcoal Black colour.

The 3.8kW motor of the Bajaj Chetak is powered by a 3kWh battery pack. This configuration has a top speed and range of 107 km/h and 60 km/h, respectively. The battery requires four hours to fully charge using a standard charger.

By the end of March 2023, Chetak will be accessible in nearly 100 outlets spread throughout 85 cities thanks to a rapid expansion initiative. Chetak is presently present in more than 60 cities. A rich shopping experience is provided to customers at more than 40 of these businesses, which are exclusive Experience Centers. Customers are guaranteed an honest and dependable ownership and operation experience thanks to the specialised service centres found only at Chetak dealerships.
